The magnet power supply output current's ripple, accuracy, and stability are significant to improve the beam quality. All these elements are closely related to the data acquisition probe, Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). In this paper, a data acquisition system based on System-on-Chip (SoC) Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) for ADC data readout is described. Moreover, the results of several typical ADCs, such as multi-channel, high-resolution, high-rate throughput, Successive Approximation Register (SAR) ADC, and Delta-sigma ADC are compared and discussed.
