The study investigates the effectiveness of multi-layer shielding in maintaining the efficiency of SRF cavities. These cavities are vulnerable to external magnetic fields, such as the Earth's magnetic field, which can degrade their intrinsic quality factor. To uphold peak performance, SRF cavities necessitate protection from magnetic interference. Typically, a single-layer magnetic shield serves this purpose. A comparative study assesses the efficacy of multi-layer shields versus single-layer ones in reducing cavity exposure to external magnetic fields is conducted. This poster presentation evaluates the performance of multi-layer magnetic shields in comparison to single-layer shielding.
