KEK LUCX facility timing system supplies trigger and gate signals for DAQ, klystrons, laser systems, interlocks etc. The accelerator had CAMAC TD-4S digital delay modules based timing system. Trigger signal pulse width was realized at NIM Gate&Delay generators. The width adjustment was operated at manual mode. The system was highly inflexible. Moreover, CAMAC TD-4S modules production and maintenance at KEK is over. According to the written above reasons, the facility timing system migrated from CAMAC TD-4S to standalone SINAP Event Generator and Event Receiver modules. This report presents KEK LUCX facility timing system upgrade results. |
